Government is a creation of society, and not inherently criminal in nature. You cannot generalize all government as criminal.
How did society create it? Did all people create it? Obviously not. Did some people create it? The same is true for all criminal organizations.
Just because the same is true for all criminal organizations doesn't mean that the government is a criminal organization. For example, I can't say that you are a criminal because you and all criminals have a liver.
Not my point. I tried to ask what it means to that governments are created by society. If it means that some members of society created them - well, the same is true for all criminal organizations. That doesn't mean that govs are criminal organizations because they're created by members of society.
Governments finance themselves through extortion (taxation) and counterfeiting (quantitative easing).
We get something in return, their protection. Which doesn't make it extortion, but rather an exchange of goods for services.
If I put a gun to your head and make you pay me money, but then I polish your shoes, it's still extortion.
Protection racket against other gangs is a classical behavior of a criminal organisation.
Governments use force to keep out competitors.
(Sometimes this is in the form of patents and regulations, and sometimes the companies that benefit are not officialy part of the government but lobbied it for monopolies.)
