There's no evidence that "humanity" has a goal. Individual humans have goals.
What would the purpose of surviving be if everyone was miserable? thus, achieving happiness, not survival, is the goal of humanity.
Humanity only recently overcame the clutches of natural selection and so nearly all of our desires exist to ensure survival. Where we stand apart from other species is instead of pleasure being the motivation to survive, we can seek pleasure for its own sake. i.e. fine dining.
Goals are just values humans arbitrarily put to things. Thus, humanity has no goal by itself since it is extremely subjective and you can even have nihilists.
Natural selection has evolved all animal species to do so.
No, they didn't evolve to that. There is no point in evolution by itself. Evolution is just a careless consequence of the individuals trying to survive or by a random factor.
An example are the pandas. They have evolved to beeing unable to live by themselves.
