a good percentage of the population puts ketchup on their hot dogs, but they would never do the same with ranch.
I for one have. Just because people don't do it doesn't mean that it is a bad idea. People in the 50's smoked all the time, but that doesn't mean it was a good idea. People follow band wagons. Always.
When people smoked in the 50s it wasn't JUST because they were on the bandwagon. They did it because of the extended levels of dopamine in the brain at first, until they were addicted to it. The same happens when you eat tasty ketchup-filled hot dogs, but not so much with nasty ranch-filled hot dogs
While I am unable to pull up any websites to site how wrong you are due to crappy internet, it can and will be argued that you can enjoy something without addiction. For instance, I like to run and I do enjoy t, but I would never call myself addicted. When I don't run, there is no withdrawal.
Ranch would be nasty on scrambled eggs.
I personally have never had a ketchup friendly meal that wasn't equally good (if not better) with ranch.
I used to always put ranch on my pizza, but I would very much dislike ketchup on my pizza.
The argument simply states ranch goes good on things that are good with ketchup. Not the other way around.
