Morals are necessary to ensure trust and reliance within the group.
Trust is necessary for group survival.
Morals are necessary for group survival
Proposed modification: Morals are necessary for human survival
groups of single cell organisms don't have morals but survive
Organisms without intelligence and a model of social interactions doesn’t need moral to refrain them to favor personal interests by hurting others.
It's easy to destroy a group of microbial creatures. However, it isn't easy to destroy humans, because we work together, teach each other strategies (school), and have a lot of power as a group. Microbial creatures survive but they cannot be the main species on Earth.
single cell organisms survive but don't have morals
Single celled organisms never developed intelligent systems and made complete use of resources like humans. They survived, but they did not flourish.
The contention has been modified, as I suggested. It's now that it is required for group survival
