If quantum randomness is real, then everything is not determined by what happened before.
On large scales everything is deterministic. And even on small scales, there are deterministic model which capture quantum behaviors.
What we call free will is the ability to imagine different futuristic scenarios other than the deterministic one. And it's not possible to not have the illusion of it since it's a bi-product of imagination.Unless we get rid of that as well.
All human actions are controlled by our sinapses and hormone intervention. Both of them are obligatory a consequence of their ambient and birth properties(ex: genome), thus the cause of anything would be dragged to infinity until the beggining of our universe, that determined all.
Free will is an illusion, we don't really have any choice. If we were sent back in time in the same position and with the same knowledge, we would do all the same actions all over again, because our reasoning would be the same, coming from previous events.
Radioactive decay is random, and so this brings the cycle out of order.
we can still determine what will happen by making use of our own free will.
