There must be some kind of first principle underlying reality. Were there to be no first principle, then there would be a nonsensical and never ending chain of causes into eternity. The only way to remedy this is to posit a first cause.

If there must be a first cause for existence, then any creator must also have a first cause, ad nauseam. The first cause is more likely the universe itself.
