There are 30 million black men in the US. If twenty-six of them are shot by a police officer and at least half are justified then the message being portrayed by Hands Up Don't Shoot is false.
According to a study conducted by John Jay College, young white men have a higher chance of being shot than a young black man when in a confrontation with police.
If different races are told since childhood that every obstacle they must face derives from racism. That in itself is becomes part of the problem. This is not the way to correct the problem.
