Some people have hand-eye coordination that allows them to excel at video games, and many video games have a large fan base because of this (i.e. DOTA, TF2, CSGO, etc.). Competitive online games have been the backbone of a lot of video games, and allow people to play competitively with friends.
If a certain video game causes harm to someone else, then that video game should take action to protect their players/other individuals if it's a legitimate cause of harm. Not all competitive video games are detrimental, but I can see how it could cause problems to people.
