Democracy would be improved if fewer people voted
It depends upon what basis the individuals that do vote are chosen. In order for such a selection to be valid, individuals must be chosen upon the basis of understanding the issue and having an insight. All attempts to properly filter would result in a biased selection by the selector.
Morality is absolute.
Morality is a human creation and therefore subjective. Different groups have different morality complexes with each hinging on a specific system of value. Each values a specific quality or achievement that molds the rest of the morality. They are all based on opinion and not fact, without validity.
Making money is more important than enjoying one's work.
Doing what you enjoy gurantees personal satisfaction but money only possibly allows such satisfaction.
Life is pointless
To know no purpose is to know freedom. The far more depressing possibility would be having a set purpose leading you only to be a cog in a machine rather than a living individual.
I should not attempt to persuade my family to hold a different belief than the ones they currently hold.
If you believe their current beliefs to be unjust, incorrect or detrimental to themselves or others, then convincing them to change can erase those negative consequences.
The American two party political system (Democrats and Republicans), is ultimately going to be our downfall.
It only allows for essentially two stances or opinions on an issue to be represented thereby violating the democratic principles of the country and disheartening the people.
Scientific hypotheses can not be proven
The premises of solipsism can never be disproven leaving all science to be based on assumption of the true existence of the physical world.

During the Middle Ages, Medieval Europe did almost nothing to further human development. It was the Islamic empires and East Asian civilizations that housed most human progress.
Both socialism and capitalism can function as economic systems when employed under adequate circumstances.
Nations such as the Scandinavian states have succeeded under largely socialist policies and other western states have prospered under capitalism.
It's wrong to have negative opinions of someone.
A negative opinion can be justified if an individual violates what one defines as moral behavior. In that circumstance the inclination to form an opinion is inevitable and often leads to further development of morality.
