Our senses are our main source of stimuli, but what underlies the senses and their respective physical operations is the reality of personal existence. My self existing can be determined as reality rationally by recognizing that my existence is predicated by my thoughts - e.g. "Cogito Ergo Sum"

Twin towers actually attacked by the US.
I'm assuming that you're not arguing that George W. Bush did not orchestrate the 9/11 attacks (I hope). That being said, his ignorance of the attacks does not demonstrate that the US had an active role (twin towers ATTACKED by the US) in their destruction.
