I said "heaven or something". And I shouldn't have to. The original claim is that life is pointless because there is no heaven. To make that claim, you need to be able to prove there isn't one.

We should not care about life after death

Serving as an incentive to be good is not the only reason to care if life after death exists. It would change everything we know about the nature of existence and consciousness.

All religion should be abolished

If the only reason you commit suicide is to lessen your own pain, and you don't care about the impact it will have on others, then you're by definition being selfish.

That's only one reason to commit suicide. You can't find one reason that makes it seem ok and then say that it makes every reason ok.

All drugs should be legalized

Not having them easily available makes it harder for them. If they were all legal and available at any random gas station, we would be seeing a lot more addicts.

Desperately attaching meaning to life arbitrarily is hardly finding objective meaning at all.

Appeal To Belief

Life is pointless

It may be possible to prevent the end of the universe and live on for eternity. Humanity has a long, long time to figure out a solution to that problem. We won't know for sure that the universe will definitely end until it definitely ends.

Polygamy should be legal.

That's not necessarily true. Say there are 10 people (5W, 5M), and one woman marries three men. That leaves four women and two men. Then, each remaining man can marry two of the remaining women. Everyone ends up married.
